Jada Riley Terpening was born July 2, 2003 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota as Jayden MacKenzie to Shayla Crowe. Jayden was adopted by Wesley and Patty Terpening in 2006 and was named Jada.

She attended school in Sioux Falls, graduating from Lincoln High School in 2021. She enjoyed gymnastics, cheer-leading, creative writing, working with children and belonged to the JROTC.

Following graduation she attended North Central University focusing on Youth Ministry.

In 2021 she moved to Colorado to focus on her health and on finding herself. Through her search she chose to identify as Aspen Rayne Crowe. She was called to heaven on October 1, 2024.

She was a light to the world that will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be Friday, October 18, 2:00 PM at Restoration Baptist Church.
